dogs for sale
June 22, 2008
Last June, tria’s in heat again. So we decided to have her pregnant again, with the help of Bitoy, the stud/calldog. Meanwhile, Travis is in great suffering having a bitch-in-heat around. He had attempts on humping Tria, but she doesn’t want to do it with Travis, besides he’s big for her. So he kept on barking and crying for days and nights. We could not just let this happen to Travis over and over again every time Tria have her period and let him grow old a virgin. Since Demer wanted a new puppy, we decided to buy him a girlfriend. So I surfed doggie forums and some buy and sell sites to find the right girl for my furkid Travis. I browsed over a couple puppies and old dogs for sale. It’s heartbreaking to see adult dogs still for sale after giving their master unconditional love and loyalty, they sell their pitiful pets just for money. It must be hard for the dog to transfer from his so-called master to another owner. I just pray that they land on the good ones. After a few hours and some phone calls I think I finally found my bitch. She’s almost two months old, red standard minipin, just like Travis. After confirming that she’s still available I immediately got the address and go there to get her. I thought the puppy that I we were about to buy is just a litter of a pet, but she was just one of those things that the breeder’s sell. The garage has two aspins with short leashes tied near the door. The place smells like dog pee. The house is full of caged dogs that are actually bred for sale. Five minipin puppies are located in the kitchen along with other breeds. The sala housed reserved shih tzu puppies and a pregnant pug. It’s very clear that the woman raise dogs, business as usual. Poor creatures, if only I have all the money so I could buy them all. so, we chose our dog, get the details, her papers and left the place. We immediately brought our newest pooch baby to the vet for an over all check up. I showed the doctor her records, but he said that we must redo the vaccination, because the puppy’s shot was only done by the breeder and it might be incorrect. The over all check up was ok, the dog is healthy but for one thing, she is infected by earmites (microscopic parasites that infect the ears) and suggested us to clean her ears everyday and put eardrops twice a day. Two days later, the breeder texted asking if the puppy’s fine. I told her about the earmites, surprisingly, the breeder doesn’t know anything about the parasite. I asked her to bring our puppy’s siblings to the vet to check if they are also infected. Poor dogs. It’s been a month since we got Tamika, she’s fine and happy to be one of our puppies. She’s Travis’ playmate now and almost done with her shots. We’re glad to have her at her home.
